First day of school, first soccer game!

This past few weeks has been super busy for us. Tanner started Football. He (for 2 wks) had practice Mon-Thurs 5 PM to 730 PM. Long days. Brekyn started soccer as well. We still do scouts at our house once a week. So on Thurs we have Football, Soccer and Scouts. All between 5 and 6. So I do sports and Justin does Scouts. We make it work.

School stared last Weds. Hayden is in 5th grade. We are homeschooling him again this yr. He is doing great. He is excited about the school yr and so are we. Tanner is in 2nd grade this yr and loving every minute of it. Brekyn started Kindergarten. She is loving it as well. The 2 kids ride the bus to and from school. Which is nice for me. We have not had bus service the last 2 yrs. So this is wonderful!!

Brekyn had her first Soccer Game last night. She has never played before. She has only had one practice also. She played like a pro. She scored 2 of the 3 points her team made. She was so aggresive with the ball. I was so proud of her. She just appeared to know what she was doing. We had NO idea she knew how to play. LOL It was sooo fun to watch her. Thanks to Grandpa Tanner and Uncle Nate for coming to watch her. We appreciate it! And so does she!

Tanner has his first Football (tackle football) game on Sept 12th. He is so excited as well. I love to go watch his practices. Its so much fun! They have just started tackling last week. It scares me a little. BUT Justin assures me, he will be just fine! He is a beanpole!! LOL But he is tough! He is in a traveling league. So his games will be in Payson, Holbrook, RV etc. So it should be a lot of fun. We are super excited about it.

Hayden had been in Karate for a while. But he wasnt in love with it. He is not much into sports. We give him the option to play as well and he just hasnt found what he loves to do yet. So he goes to scouts weekly and goes to watch Brekyn and Tanner. If he finds what he loves than thats great. If he doesnt ever love any sport, Im good with that too! Hes a fun kid to just hang out with!!

I Love my friends!!

I have always loved the 24th weekend in St. Johns. It has been 8 yrs since the last time I went to any of the activities there. I went this year and had a wonderful time. Wendy Watson was able to come and stay a couple days. We had a great time! Amy Price Holly was in town from Va. and also came and stayed a few days. It was a wonderful visit. I loved getting to know her sweet girls! These 2 have been wonderful friends for a lot of yrs. It was so good to hang out and visit!! Time sure goes by fast, But I don't feel any older. Thanks Amy and Wendy for staying!!! I love you guys!!

We had a super fun class get together in SJ. It is always fun to reconnect with people. Thanks to Spence and Kellie Platt for making it happen!! It was a blast!

Bike Riding at Grandpa Tanners!!

Justin had to leave for school in Laughlin for a few days. He left on my birthday. Justins mom had taken me to see the Wicked in Phx the day before. Which was awesome!! (thanks... I had a wonderful time) So on my birthday, Justin gave me my very favorite breakfast, Cake! He got me a Boston Cream Pie with fresh strawberries. It was delicious. He and the kids got me some fun gifts. We ate cake and spent some of the day together, then Justin had to head out. Me and the kids loaded up and went to dads house. Terra and Nate got me a cake and we had hot dogs and chicken. It was a fun time. The kids brought their bikes and rode for hours. Tanner has a ramp, and they think its the funnest thing ever. At least Tanner and Preston think so.

Birthday Time!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAISON AND KELCI!!



We had a fun filled Birthday! Our sweet Caison was born on 07-07-07. He came into this world so full of happiness, and he still is. We love this little guys so much! Caison has a special bond with his cousin, "Baby" as he calls her, Kelci. She is Nathan and Terras daughter. They are so sweet together. I just love it! Her Birthday is 07-14-08. So we decided to do the birthdays together this year. Im so glad we did. They had a great time together. Caison got his little bike and Kelci got her little walker toy. They walked and rode around the park together. It was sweet! We had yummy cake with both of their names on it. It was blue and pink. It was a fun time!! I cant believe my baby is 2!!

Cousins....and Camping...

Miss August Carley, Mr. July Caison and Mr June Gannon..


We went camping over Fathers Day weekend. We went to one of the Forks, I cannot remember which. It was just past Big Lake. It was a beautiful area. As most of you know, I am NOT a camper. I dont like much about it at all. But I did have a good time visiting with Justins family. His brother Jeremiah, wife Tracy, kids Carley and Zach came from Colorado. Jamin and His wife Elizabeth and Gannon came and Justins mom and dad. So it was their entire immediate family. We all had a good visit. It was also the first time all the Grandkids were together at the same time. Gannon was born in June, Caison in July and Carley in Aug. They will all be 2. It was fun the see them together. Here are a few pictures from the camp out, (thanks Tracy) I forgot my camera. Dang it! Grandma has some good ones too. I will have to get copies of. Tanner, Carley, Brekyn, Hayden and GannonGannon, Carley and Tanner..... Jamin and Justin Goin Fishin!!! :)

Terrible 2's and hes not even 2!!

Caison is seriously a funny kid!! He is always up to something! He loves to wear shoes always.... Even if they dont match. (notice his shoes) He loves to play in the toy box! He takes everything out that is big, and sits on whats not...

I was making dinner tonight. I was in the kitchen and could hear a muffled MEOW. I was looking every where and couldnt find the kitty. We have kittens we are getting rid of and they like to come in sometimes and eat. So I figured it was one of them. But I could not find it anywhere. I just assumed it was meowing from the front door wanting in. It was a soft meow. So I open the dishwasher to get a spatula and Cais had put the kitten in there. He was really sweet and left it a toy to play with. But he made sure the dishwasher was latched closed. I reached in and about screamed when I saw something furry moving! Once I realized, I laughed so hard. Caison came over and said Kitty in it! This kid is always doing something somewhere.... We have to be on guard always with him and hes not even 2!! :)
